@konoyatsu Thanks, I'm glad you could enjoy it. I imagine the shield can feel cumbersome at first for some people because you already have to control movement and shooting separately, then add a third mechanic on top of that. But with a bit of practice it adds a layer of strategy

@KaniProGames +1 to that count. I really appreciate the shield mechanics, it adds enough to make it unique in class, and got me thinking about getting an LS-30 stick and doing DIY so that the experience can be perfected.

About a week after release, Hong Kong 2097 has sold around 60 copies on Itchio, and I would truly like to thank those who gave it a chance. Yeah, it's a small number compared to what could have happened on Steam, but it also exceeded my expectations. So seriously, thank you

I checked the metadata on Hong Kong 2097 and of the 8 reviews, 6 are five stars and 2 are one star. Somehow that makes me think I've accomplished what I set out to do

@KaniProGames Yeah I found their channel prior, but nothing that sounds even remotely like that song is on any of their videos. Searching for the title provides no results either. Almost wondering if they removed it.
