Im barely on here anymore but a quick update; Did a 48 day subathon on Twitch. Huge new record for me. Build a gazebo and finished staining my deck. Got the courtyard looking good too. Indoor pool is fixed so ya know, nice and heated for pool streams maybe? Ill do more content

Ay Im a first timer and during a subathhon <3 heck yeah

@xJustGabs Ive ran several, at first like a 24/7 on cam thing, and it ran me ragged. Sleeping 8 hours and just not counting the timer is way healthier and the community is way more in support of it. They get more real content for their dollar and I get to recoup every night.

can we stop normalizing calling every stream a subathon... like if you are turning your stream off, and streaming the next day, isn't that just like a regular stream schedule? we are overhyping these "30 day long subathons" it's kinda why i haven't done a subathon in a while cus there's no in between. you are either sitting at your chair for 24-48 hrs and not turning it off or just ending stream after 12 hrs and continuing the next day and labeling it a subathon. and for what? idk i'm up for discussion if there's a solid reason as for why people do this. subathons use to be so cool and rare and now everyone is doing an "uncapped subathon" with words on stream on.

@bbjessTTV Something wildly similar happened w me a few years ago. Its made me really second guess making any content creators friends again. Its been EXTREMELY slow and still I wouldn’t say anyone is close. Im really sorry it happened to you. Betrayal is a nasty feeling

Thinking about the time I thought I had the best group of streamer friends who I did everything to support and I thought id grow old with But when I was at my absolute lowest and needed actual help- they all dipped My heart hurts for younger me-I’m proud I made it through And it made me even more grateful for the real friends I have 💖

@Jonathancstout Im a fantasy guy over sci fi any day, but I always gelt their dragon age games (all of them) paled in comparison to mass effect 1-3. Something about playing the same character through such a saga and seeing your choices make real changes in the next game blew my mind
