⚖️ ORCS 2023 ⚖️ This past weekend Kansas A competed at the Opening Round Championship Series in St. Paul, Minnesota. Kansas A had an amazing time and learned a lot this weekend, shout out to our awesome coaches for all their help preparing us for this weekend!

⚖️ Regionals: A & B teams ⚖️ A huge congratulations to Kansas A for receiving a BID to ORCS in St. Paul, MN! And an amazing performance by Sarah Hammeke who won an All-Regional Attorney Award! Kansas B also competed this weekend and did an excellent job!

⚖️ Regionals: C and D teams ⚖️ Both teams had a phenomenal showing at the tournament, and hit some competitive teams in their pool. We are so proud of both teams (comprised of mostly first year competitors!!) taking on the challenging competition!!

⚖️ Creighton Tournament ⚖️ Team’s 1912, 1929 and 2006 Jayhawks did a phenomenal job at the Creighton Tournament this weekend! Team 2006 went 5-3, Team 1912 went 4-4 and team 1929 went 3-4-1 And a huge congratulations to Roger Garmon, for receiving an outstanding attorney award!

A KU Law mock trial team traveled to Detroit for the National Trial Advocacy Competition in October. One of the presiding judges told the team that they demonstrated “more skill, professionalism, and attention to detail than many seasoned trial attorneys.” Congrats, team! 🎉

⚖️ Drake Tournament ⚖️ Two of our teams competed at Drake this weekend and BOTH teams walked away with trophies. Team 1920 Jayhawks was 3rd Place overall, team 1941 Jayhawks 4th place overall! Special congrats to Sarah Hammeke for winning an attorney award!!

⚖️KU MOCK TRIAL TOURNAMENT⚖️ All of our teams competed at their first tournament this weekend, and had a strong finish. Team 1920 Jayhawks and team 1941 Jayhawks will be traveling to Drake next weekend for another exciting competition, rock chalk!
