TUE, JUL 14: Expect lane closures on SB I-335/KTA south of the Topeka interchange (right lane, MM 167) and north of Council Grove interchange (right lane MM 155) and a left lane closures between Topeka and Council Grove interchanges (MM 162 - 158) for roadside maintenance. Before your next road trip, check: 💨 Tire Pressure: Fill your tires to the factory reccomended pressure. you can find your specific tires pressure on the inside of the drivers door. 🛞 Tread Depth: Using the penny test, check your tires tread depth. Low tread depth can lead to decreased traction, especially in the wet. ☠️Tire Age: Aged tires lose their grip, and are prone to failure. NHTSA recommends all tires older than 10 years should be replaced.

💪 A stronger roadway today means fewer issues tomorrow. Just north of the South Wichita Interchange (MM 43.9), crews have finished pouring a new concrete bridge deck, designed to improve safety, increase durability, and support larger freight vehicles traveling the Turnpike!
