A Mizzou grad told me this today & I researched it to make sure it was true: “A new law allows in-state high school students, once they sign their NLI, to begin making money in high-school, but ONLY if they commit to an in-state school.” Smart. ARK needs to adopt asap imo







Quitman HC has been working hard behind the scenes to get student athletes compensation for their NIL. Marrs has always been a trailblazer in Arkansas HS athletics and thinks outside the box. Being a #VTownBoys means a lot of things, and one of them is the everlasting brotherhood shared by people of common interests. That interest is baseball. We recently lost #VTownBoy Drake Shaw. Baseball opened the door to our relationship but love kept it. Love always bro

#VTownBoys SR Spotlight is student assistant Austin Koonce. This was his only season as a part of the baseball family & was cut short as he was playing in 5A State basketball tournament as baseball season ended. He was an All State player for both football & basketball programs

#VTownBoys SR Spotlight is student coach Nic Bonnema. Nic has committed his spring semester to our baseball family and his most memorable moments are traveling to Louisiana and helping the team and coaching staff with practice and technology. He will pursue a career in welding.

#VTownBoys SR Spotlight is Cade McWilliams. He has been a part of the baseball family for 4 season & his most memorable moments came on bus rides, but recently was the last practice with his teammates before COVID-19 and they played 6 out BP. He will major in civil engineering.

#VTownBoys SR Spotlight is Bradley Phillips. He has been a member of the baseball family for 4 seasons and his most memorable moments are Louisiana trips with teammates and going undefeated in the Arkansas for his SR season. He plans to attend UCA & major in nursing.
