One of the biggest mistakes I see when editing 2000+ words/day: Filler. Needless words create friction and harm readability. Here are 5 filler sentences (edited with changes explained):

@KaraCopple Hi, fellow freelancer here. I’ve struggled with the same question a lot but I think we do ourselves a disservice when we discount the writing we do for paying clients. Of course we’re writers :-) and when we have the time, we’ll catch up with our stories

I haven't written fiction in months. Just can't do it. Am I still a writer? Who knows but I have written about mortgages several times since then, which is equally as exciting... #freelancewriter #WritingCommunity
