@akyszek i would also like to point out the gardemeks were set well in the worldbuilding as they are made at the fortress of meropide. which also leads me to my personal problem. the fact that natlan imo was way too tiny as, other than the tribes, there is nothing alse.

Nobody hated the fontaine Gardemeks or guns or cannons because they were kept within the steampunk aesthetic which has always kind of been the expectation for fontaine. Nobody hated Fatui Soldiers guns because theyre fantasy guns that dont resemble real guns too closely.
