#womenempoweringwomen

#WATCH | Mumbai: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar says, "Can we create a boundary between the farmer and the government? I do not understand why there is no dialogue with the farmers...My concern is why this initiative has not happened so far. You (Shivraj Singh Chouhan) is the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. I am reminded of Sardar Patel, and his responsibility to unify the nation, which he did so excellently. This challenge is before you today, and it should not be considered any less than the unity of India. Agriculture Minister, did the Agriculture Minister who was there before you make any promise in writing? If a promise was made then what happened to it?... India has never been at such a height in the world before. Our reputation in the world has never been as high. When this is happening, why is my farmer in distress? Why is he suffering? Why is the farmer stressed? This is a serious issue, and to take it lightly means that we are not being practical, and our policy-making is not on the right track. No force in the country can suppress the voice of the farmer. A nation will pay a huge price if it tries the patience of a farmer..."

INSIGHT UK
INSIGHT UK@INSIGHTUK2·
📢 Important Update from INSIGHT UK We have sent a formal letter to Oxford Union expressing deep concerns over their decision to host a debate titled, “This House Believes in the Independent State of Kashmir,” on 14th November. The invitation of speakers with alleged links to terrorism is particularly alarming and raises serious questions about the integrity of this debate. Why This Matters: The Kashmir region has been a target of terrorism for decades, causing the forced exodus of thousands of Kashmiri Hindus and creating untold suffering. Kashmir is recognised internationally as an integral part of India, and any debate questioning this is a challenge to India’s sovereignty. The speakers invited to support the motion, Mr. Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur and Mr. Zafar Khan, have alleged ties to groups involved in violent extremism and terrorist activities under the disguise of separatist movements. 🔍 Key Concerns: •Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur has allegedly engaged in incitement and hate speech, with links to organisations investigated for ties to terrorism. •Zafar Khan represents the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), a group associated with violent acts that terrorised the Kashmiri Hindu community and forced them to flee their ancestral homes. It’s known that JKLF had kidnapped and killed Indian Diplomat in the UK. As a social movement dedicated to safeguarding the interests of British Hindus and Indians, INSIGHT UK believes that Oxford Union’s decision risks amplifying extremist ideologies. Academic platforms must promote constructive dialogue, not provide a stage for those with links to terrorism. 🔗 Read our full letter for more details on these concerns. We encourage the community to stay informed and voice their concerns to ensure that such forums remain respectful, balanced, and rooted in truth. @UniofOxford @OxfordUnion #INSIGHTUK #BritishHindus #StandWithKashmir #OxfordUnion #AcademicResponsibility
