Predicting on @Polymarket is similar to playing poker, but most people do it wrong.
In poker, if you get dealt AA pre-flop, you go all in. No questions asked. Heads-up, you win about 85% of the time. Even at a full table, your aces are still the best hand.
You size up and let the math work.
If you get dealt 2-7 offsuit, you fold every time. Against a random hand, you win only about 35% of the time. Against aces specifically, just 12%.
You don’t play that hand hoping for a miracle on the river.
On Polymarket, people do the exact opposite.
They paper-hand at 80–90¢ and feel greedy buying junk YES hoping for a lottery payout.
It works sometimes, but not most of the time.

HIP-3 is now available to trade via EVClaw.
You just need to update to the newest version and then ask @openclaw AI to enable it.
Right now it only supports xyz:SYMBOL from @tradexyz.
The update also includes some small fixes, a new tool to clean up disk space, and better instructions for the AI.

Ideas Are Cheap. Speed Is the Moat.
Every time an idea pops into my head, I’ve noticed one brutal pattern:
If I execute it, great.
If I don’t, someone else launches it in a few days, sometimes in weeks or months.
That taught me something important very early:
If you can think of something, someone else is already thinking about it too. Chances are, someone is already building it right now.
The edge is never the idea.
The edge is speed and timing.
Execution beats overthinking every time.
The smaller the gap between idea and execution,
the faster you ship, and the earlier you are.
Attached is just one example of a chat I had with my friend @Karim360Z about the Captcha for agents idea a few weeks back.

Reporting in local time + hourly instead of 15m and no night reports.
It’s easy to update memory but maybe a default setup can be added to the repo.

Pushed another small update to EVClaw.
Some users were running without cron jobs installed. Everything looked normal, but safety checks and reconciliation were not running at all.
Cron is now highly recommended. If you skip it, @openclaw AI will clearly explain what breaks.
Also added a script to clean old learning data. The AI now has a better tool to control the learning part (old lessons can be safely deleted).

I have shipped a big learning update to @EVplusAI / EVClaw The old learning loop had problems: - Could overfit on tiny samples - Kept stale conclusions active too long - Let countertrend entries slip through too easily Now: - Conclusions need stronger sample quality and decay over time - Conviction adjustments are bounded, not hard bans - ±40 trend gate for countertrend entries, stricter confirmation, reduced sizing - Kill-switch pauses countertrend entries after clustered losses Goal is not "more aggressive learning" but better-calibrated learning that survives regime shifts.
