@keithalexander Data on pesticide use is not readily available. We don't know how much comes from domestic animals or livestock. Impossible to model concentrations and measuring is expensive.

Insecticide is found on pet owners hands 28 days after application… I remember after we gave our dog tick treatment, we stopped getting ticks as well… theguardian.com/environment/20…

@keithalexander My dog is offered year-round flea treatment as part of his pet plan. Even in winter when there are no ticks. We decline but many people won't.
