That’s one thing I credit Arteta for, you can’t tempt any of the players away. All of them believe in the project. There’s a genuine connection between the squad, the manager, and the fans now. Maybe few years ago before Arteta it’s possible, but now. The core players are signing long-term deals, young talents actually want to stay and develop there, and even targets around Europe are starting to view Arsenal as a serious destination again. That only happens when players trust the vision. They can see the progress, they can see the structure, and most importantly they can see that the club is moving forward instead of standing still. You may criticize Arteta for certain tactical decisions or in-game management sometimes, but rebuilding the culture and mentality of Arsenal is one of the hardest jobs any manager can do and he’s absolutely nailed that part.
