@Slipcatch No, they are not likely to score 44 in a final. But Leinster conceded 35 in a half which is ridiculously bad. Bordeaux got lucky for 21 of their points but they were good enough to earn that luck.

Yes I know. Basically you already know before the game they are likely to score 44. So Bordeaux scored on par (3 short). Leinster should have score 34, you were 15 short. Then the Moefana try on the 40th minute mark could have been the difference. That try came because you chased the game already by then. Around 2018/19 when the Springboks played the All Blacks we know we will have to score 32+ points if we want to win them.
