@Owennfa Having actually lived my life I can officially say Boomers worked their asses off. Our children in most cases were raised and spoiled compared to how we were raised. Our parents were children during the great depression. They taught us d that there is no free lunch.

BY AGE 30 YOU MUST HAVE : a house. a paid off car. 6 months of savings. a retirement account growing. a stable career. a spouse and a plan. zero debt. at least that’s what the boomers always say. the same boomers who bought their house for $74,000 on a single income in 1987.

@Roger_Negan A friend in England and I were scheduled for a colon ostomy. I had to wait a month and he had to wait six months. I got mine and he never got his. He went and they couldn't do it because the camera was broken. It was broken before he made his appointment. It would have been free.

More than 460,000 veterans spend over half their income on rent. About a third of veterans who served after 2001 pay more than 30% of their income on housing. Rising food prices make it harder for military families including veterans to afford nutritious meals. They survived combat. They shouldn't have to struggle in this economy.

@FurkanGozukara One person being wealthy does not make another person poor. A wealthy person brings other peoples wealth up with them. Wealthy people basically are organizers who find ways to bring people together to serve others and make money. Politicians make empty promises.

Prominent senator Bernie Sanders drops a massive reality check. He confirms America faces worse wealth inequality than the Gilded Age, with 1-person owning more wealth than the bottom 53 percent. He exposes how billionaires pay lower taxes than nurses.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner completely destroys Jeff Bezos. He calls the billionaire's argument against paying taxes "abject nonsense" and pure propaganda. He confirms taxing hoarded wealth to fund healthcare will transform working lives.

Diet culture is a $90 billion industry. Food deserts affect 19 million Americans. Rich people have personal chefs and organic grocers. Poor people have dollar menus and food stamps getting cut. Then we blame poor people for being unhealthy.

@mymixtapez When you tax the rich you end up paying for it in other ways. The wealthy actually provide jobs and that includes all the taxes you end up paying. No job no way to pay for anything including taxes. Without a job you have nothing.

9-5 jobs are comfort money. They give you just enough money to make it hard to leave. Then you buy a house, get a car, have kids. Then it's too much risk to leave the job. Next thing you know, you blink, and you're 60.

My mom had a heart attack last year. Ambulance: $8,400. ER visit: $42,000. Insurance covered: $11,000. She owed: $39,400. She has insurance. Has had it for 30 years. Never missed a payment. She’s 68 years old negotiating a payment plan. This isn’t a glitch. This is how the American healthcare system works

An American grabbed a simple meal at Park MGM in Las Vegas. A bowl of pasta. A water. The bill? $52.95. Vegas used to drain your wallet at the tables. Now it does it before you even sit down.

@tokyo_111 Boomers never had any of that at 30. I still had 25 years to go on my home. I had no money in the bank. We only had one car in the family and it was not paid off. I paid the doctor bills for my first born and my second. I had several jobs that ended because of poor economic times

@Emolclause More people will go for a promise of something free. It is not free. People work very hard to provide the resources people need and want. It is unfair to punish the achievers. The slaves of communism will not work as hard.

#BREAKING: Ari: What do you plan to do with the money you raise from the flat 2% tax on the super wealthy and raising the corporate tax to 11.5%? Mayor Mamdani: “…that would get you $9 billion…this is our revenue plan. This would MORE THAN pay for our economic agenda. It would actually allow us to start Trump-proofing our city, and what I mean by that is we’re seeing right now what the Trump agenda portends for New Yorkers. This is a man who ran a presidential campaign on the premise of cheaper groceries, that is now trying to cut SNAP benefits to make it even harder to afford those same groceries. We have to protect New Yorkers with the least from the attacks from the man with the most power in this country.”👊

@LucasSa56947288 We already spend to much on education and get remedial results. We need better leadership in our schools. Take a good look at the best schools and copy their success. That is how businesses get better.
