@BlaineBaseball Samford was able to show the effectiveness of a double cut by throwing out the runner at home in the first inning. The first cut was overthrown, but the second cut was behind him ready for it and able to throw the runner out at home.

@BlaineBaseball When number 10 for Vanderbilt hit a homer to right, the guy on first actually tagged up because he realized since it was hit so deep he had an opportunity to get to second if the guy catches it. And even if he dropped it the runner would still have time to get to second.

@BlaineBaseball Also in the top of the 6th when Oklahoma’s number 19 got on base. He hyped up his teammates and they ended up scoring a run.
