I welcome the strong signal by my colleague @kajakallas on the EU’s willingness to impose an entry ban for Russian combatants. This is a timely and welcome step that will show every Russian that by signing a contract to fight a criminal war of agression against Ukraine they also sign an entry ban to Europe. This is fair. You fight a war to harm Europe and European states — you don’t get to travel there. I urge all EU member states to back this critical measure.
