Some confusion today. 1) there is NO PLAN to ask over 70s to completely socially isolate as with the symptomatic 2) we are working on guidance for the over 70s to be asked to REDUCE social contact for their safety. So no bingo, no pubs…BUT family visits and neighbours etc.

Very inspiring talks at cohort 11 fellowship session today. Themes on staff well-being, being creative, professionalism, calling out bad behavior.

Proud to work in NHS Scot. 4pm on a PH called my pharmacy for advice, immediate answer. Called NHS24, appointed at OOH within 2 hrs, saw by OOH GP on time. Admitted direct to hosp within an hour of my OOH app. ECG, chest xray and CT within 12 hrs. A system that works even on a PH

Absolutely agree, hard to do every day but lots of leaders trying to be caring, compassionate and kind in the doing of the role and job. Got to be able to look at yourself in the mirror and be happy with who you are and how you do what you do.

Huge thanks to all the staff at the Victoria ACH in Glasgow who looked after me with compassion and expertise yesterday. No one wants to be a patient but it makes it easier when treated well.
