@EastWestSounds Ohhhhh, yes, that's right. Forgot that could be done. there are quite a few scale options. Would be really helpful to have them eamappable to the white keys for people who aren't as adept at similar to how Plugin Boutique's Scaler and Native Instrument's Komplete Kontrol do it.

@MiaPaigeVA Wow. Respect! Could never see well enough to read like that. Can read large print, not comfortably or fluidly. I read with voiceover usually by line or sentense if using my phone. So yes, safe to say you're a wee bit ahead of me. 😀

It bothers me a bit when people say I’m only blind in one eye, because that’s not true. My left eye is completely blind, and my right eye is legally blind. So, I’ll make a little thread about legal blindness. Being legally blind means~

@SaraSecoraVO Agree completely. Accessibility and logistics make this journey hard enough. But give me an accessible script, at least a little context and my own personal setup and I can make a client happy. Sounds like I'm in a naughty profession now.

More and more video game auditions are stating ‘in-studio only,’ and each time, as a disabled voice actor, I feel invalidated. I hope that through education, the proven success of remote actors, and time, we will see this change.

@jeffgarlishvo @HuaSonrin Networking IS quite difficult in the begining. I've been doing this for ten years, and am still low level success. Every time I reach out to someone I think really interesting, I worry they think I'm just in it for the network boost. Thing is, I'm genuinely interested in them.

@EastWestSounds I love this so much. Some of those articulations are amazing! My only complaint with Hollywood Fantasy series was an absence of some more life-like articulations, but this sounds fantastic. My poor hard drive space!

HEY VOICE ACTORS!! What do you guys put down when a casting call says "Is there anything else you'd like us to know?" Most of the time, I just say "Thank you for the opportunity!" but I feel like I could definitely be saying something more about me! So what do you guys do?

@pheberryfab This is helpful. I have only used the term a couple times. Have followed it, but worried it wouldn't sound professional enough. I didn't want the engineer to have to work harder on mine.

@SamiChenVA See, I love it when a creator gives me a really good idea of what and who I’m going to be portraying. I can figure things out myself, but it takes a lot less time and makes me feel way more suitable when I know what I’m doing. I will always read character info.

casting for so many roles at once made me realise that a LOT of voice actors just... do not read the character sides?? i'm convinced some ppl just look at the lines and infer from there... "soft, timid, polite" and someone gave me a sergeant voice

@EastWestSounds With all these theme packs, it would be helpful to organize them into mood/genre. Drama, horror, fantasy etc. Good stuff though.

Chords in, soundtrack out--the new Drama Pack from Hollywood Orchestrator even features a Period Piece theme, perfect for historical dramas. This entire scene was scored in under 10 minutes using nothing but orchestrator!

@IDC_Eric @MiaPaigeVA Actually yes, I do in fact. Not sure of his set up, but I've worked with him a little bit. I've never heard him voice in Japanese, but I know he's fluent in it.

@MiaPaigeVA Thankfully no, but I DID do a 6AM once. Right after I woke up. didn't know my agency sent me an audition booking. The optimist in me likes to think that's why I didn't get chosen.
