I've recompiled my big correlations-list using the team data for the entire 2023 season. This tells you what stats are useful measurements and predictors of offensive production (wOBA, OPS) and which are not (strikeout percentage, contact percentage).

@McAdoo2HOF the expensive models are SO GOOD at the deterministic problems with a limited, ordered set of verifiably-correct solutions within the output space. (all problems with solutions that can be expressed in computer code actually have a fairly limited set of OPTIMAL solutions)

@DarrenTrain it was right on the tendon on the back/side of the knee but all it cost was a couple days of stiffness, thankfully!
