I’m a stay-at-home mum and wife, and my husband gives me a monthly allowance of ₦300k.
He also gives ₦300k monthly for feeding for just the 3 of us, and honestly, I never even finish it on food. On top of that, he still takes us grocery shopping himself every month.
He pays for my hair.
Credits my phone.
Send me data monthly from his own pocket too.
Funny thing is, this allowance started while we were still dating 😭
Back then it was ₦100k monthly.
When we got married, he increased it to ₦200k.
After I gave birth, he moved it to ₦300k.
And before marriage, I never washed this man’s clothes or cleaned his house ONCE 💀
I only cooked occasionally.
He already had a cleaner handling everything and never complained.
At some point, I even told him I genuinely don’t like doing house chores and this man said:
‘I noticed already.’ 😭
After marriage, we moved into a bigger house.
Now I have: a washing machine, a house cleaner and a nanny for the baby.
So basically, I just oversee the affairs of my home.
It’s been 4 years and nothing has changed.
Ladies, stop starting what you cannot continue just because you want to impress a man during dating.
Also, please know there are men who genuinely believe in making life easier for their wives, depending on their capacity and mindset.
If a man truly wants to make life soft for you, trust me, he will.

@DanBurmawy What’s in it for the women or will they become lesbians in paradise
English

A single intercourse with one of the virgins of paradise will last seventy thousand years.
The Islamic afterlife isn’t about communion with God, spiritual enlightenment, or divine wisdom, it’s a carnal, male-centered fantasy of unlimited sexual gratification.
Islamic texts describe these women as perpetual virgins, untouched, and designed solely for the pleasure of men.
“Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation. And made them virgins, devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age.” (Quran 56:35-37)
“Fair ones reserved in pavilions. Untouched before by any man or jinn.” (Quran 55:72-74)
Hadith collections affirm that after every act of intercourse, these “virgins” miraculously return to a state of virginity so the process can be repeated endlessly.
These heavenly beings are not just virgins, they are physically exaggerated to fulfill male fantasies:
Large, round breasts:“Indeed, for the pious there is a triumph… full-breasted companions of equal age.” (Quran 78:31-33)
The Arabic term kawa‘ib in 78:33 literally means “firm, swelling breasts.”
Big, lustrous eyes:“They will have maidens with intensely white skin and large black eyes, as if they were hidden pearls.” (Quran 52:20)
Glowing, hairless, smooth skin:“If one of the women of paradise were to appear to the people of the earth, she would fill the space between heaven and earth with light and fragrance.” (Tirmidhi, 2538)
Muhammad explicitly stated that men in paradise will have endless sexual stamina, never experiencing fatigue.
The virgins, in turn, never get tired, never say no, and are always ready for intercourse.
The Prophet was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, do we have sexual intercourse in Paradise?” He replied: “Yes, by the One in Whose Hand is my soul, a man will have sexual intercourse with a hundred virgins in one morning.” (Ibn Majah, 4337)
Another hadith states that men will be given the strength of 100 men in sexual performance. (Tirmidhi, 2536)
According to Al-Suyuti, a famous Islamic scholar:
“The believer will be given such and such strength in paradise for intercourse… A single intercourse with one of the virgins of paradise will last seventy thousand years.” (Al-Suyuti, Al-Haba’ik fi Akhbar al-Mala’ik)
These “virgins” don’t need to poop, pee, or sweat, they exist for one purpose: eternal male pleasure.
“They will neither urinate, defecate, nor suffer from phlegm or mucus. Their sweat will be musk.” (Muslim, 2834)
“They will be hairless except for their eyebrows and eyelashes.” (Tirmidhi, 2536)
A believer doesn’t get just one virgin, he gets dozens, or even hundreds.
“A martyr will have 72 virgins.” (Tirmidhi, 1663)
“The lowest rank of a person in paradise will have 80,000 servants and 72 wives.” (Ibn Majah, 4337)
While men are promised an endless supply of sex slaves, the fate of women in Islam’s paradise is nonexistent or humiliating.
Women in Islamic eschatology exist only for men’s pleasure, nothing else.
While other religions speak of enlightenment, unity with God, or transcendent joy, Islam offers a pornographic fantasy land where men indulge in endless sex, alcohol, and servitude.
What kind of God rewards faithfulness with an eternal orgy?
What kind of religion reduces the afterlife to a hypersexualized playground?
This is not spiritual. This is not divine. This is the theology of a man who designed an afterlife to justify his own sexual obsessions.
And yet, Muslims claim Islam is the most moral and pure religion.
Islam’s paradise is nothing more than a cosmic brothel.

Former software engineer at Apple is whistleblowing
She says whenever Apple launches a new phone, they would push an update to older iPhones with malware to slow them down. This pushes people to upgrade
“I used to be a software engineer at Apple, and with every new phone that was released, malware was installed on the older phones to make you have to update, so your phone's not just glitching. It's doing that on purpose. Share before it's deleted”
She’s telling the truth, this was proven in court
The 2017 “Batterygate” scandal, where Apple was caught deliberately slowing down older iPhones through software updates
Apple was caught red handed doing this they even admitted it in court

@Wellness_Tosin When you see someone doing too much in the name of religion 10 out of 10 times it’s a cover for their hypocrisy

I have this colleague who is very religious.
She frowns at everything office gossip, how we dress, especially those of us who wear trousers. Me in particular, she’s always telling me, “Learn how to wear skirts,” this and that.
She just comes off as very “holier-than-thou.” She even talks about her relationship a lot; always saying how she doesn’t sleep over at her boyfriend’s place, how she keeps things “pure,” and all that.
Everybody in the office just knows her as that over-religious person.
But recently, we noticed she wasn’t acting like herself. She became quieter than usual.
Then, three days ago… we found out she’s pregnant. And she’s not married.
Now this is the same person who constantly speaks against premarital sex and acts like the rest of us are doing something wrong just because we don’t live like her.
So now I’m just here wondering…
How did “Aunty Perfect” end up pregnant? 😶

@ChuksEricE That’s how Nigerians are, they say you don’t speak out, when you speak out, if they don’t really like you, they use you to catch cruise, forgetting what the issue is about, until things get out of hand, then they’ll all start crying and looking for a messiah to save them.

“Everybody Advising Me to Book Uber After I Complained About the High Amount I Paid for Airport Parking, How Can You Be Advising Someone to Book Uber When the Person Has a Car?”
—Whitemoney responds to people advising him to book Uber after he cr!ed out over being charged N206,000 for parking his car at the airport for four days.
According to him, airport parking used to be far cheaper, saying three days would normally cost around N17,000, but he was shocked to be charged N206,000.
He added that booking Uber in Nigeria is not always the best option, especially with the current insecurity and kidn@pp!ng concerns in the country.
“Assuming it’s abroad, I can use Uber, but not Nigeria,” he said.

My mother-in-law stayed with us for 4 days and noticed I hadn’t swept the house once. She called me and asked why.
I told her we have a cleaner who comes weekly and he was due the next day.
The way she looked at me… She asked what exactly I do that I can’t sweep as a young woman, and why I’m “wasting” my husband’s money on a cleaner for a small 2-bedroom.
I was about to reply when my husband spoke. He said, “I didn’t marry her to do chores… and it’s just 20k.” she got angry, went inside, came back with a broom and started sweeping.
My husband and I just raised our legs for her to pass 😭 She looked at us, dropped the broom, and walked away. She stayed in her room till evening.
The next day, the cleaner came as usual…
and she left shortly after without saying a word to me. It’s been months now.
She hasn’t called. She doesn’t pick mine either. I’m even thinking of calling her with my husband’s phone to beg… but he says I should leave her.
I don’t even know what to do anymore.
Should I just let her be? Was I actually wrong?
