@Scott__Sturgeon I think this is such good advice for so many things in life. We say this in medicine all the time. The hardest thing to do is often the right thing to do: nothing.

In #investing there's this belief that investors should be "doing something" when markets aren't performing like we want them to. That buying or selling might help. If you have a plan, market volatility becomes less important. Inaction can sometimes be the most prudent action.

@kidney_boy For some patients and families these meds are life-changing. This is one case where I think adding another medication is often the right answer rather than stopping the initial drug.

@kidney_boy Very common in my pediatric HTN patients. I tell them that the drug is likely contributing and discuss non-stimulant alternatives (guanfacine, clonidine.) I do not counsel patients to stop ADHD meds and if non stimulants are a no-go I treat it with typical 1st line.

#HypertensionTwitter, patient on lisdexamfetamine which I suspect is driving hypertension. Patient not willing to stop the stimulant. Any suggestions for drug therapy for this situation? #AskRenal
