Made it, with hours to spare! A book a week for a year, starting with The Catcher in the Rye and finishing with The Man in the High Castle. Best book: Horse, by Geraldine Brooks. Most surprising find: Shark Heart by Emily Habeck.

It was the first book that ever brought me to tears.
