PHOTOJOURNALIST HIT BY CAR: While covering a protest and march against ICE and immigration actions in downtown Fresno, our own photojournalist was hit by a car. Fresno Police do not believe the collision was directed at the protest, or intentional by the driver.

DOJ SUING OVER PROP 50: The Department of Justice is joining a Republican lead lawsuit here in California over the newly drawn maps approved by voters from Proposition 50. The suit alleges the maps violate the 14th and 15th amendments and illegally use race as a factor.
