@teexon1 @LemkinInstitute Look check Khojali massacre please. I lived in Baku when those atrocities occurred. I will never forget that time. I have friends a who left theirs home’s barefoot in the freezing conditions. Trust me Azerbaijan wants peace, we are not aggressors. We are peaceful people.

There are stories coming out of Artsakh of the beheading of children and the separation of older boys and men from women and children. We hope these are not true, but we have every reason to believe that they are. Azerbaijan has routinely treated Armenians with this level of barbarism, especially in the wars of 2016, 2020 and 2022. It is a country is run by people who do not hide their visceral hatred of Armenians. Such life force atrocities are also common during genocides. They are exactly what happened when Serb forces overran Srebrenica in 1995 (another genocide facilitated by Western dithering), for example. Children beheaded, men and older boys separated to be massacred. Mass rape. Perpetrators drunk on power and hate. Well, world: Here is the country, Azerbaijan, that you have supported and whitewashed despite multiple warnings from genocide experts and prevention organizations. We get it: Azerbaijan is a country rich in oil, an enemy of Iran, an access route to Central Asia—but was all of that really worth selling your soul and betraying an entire people? Of course not. And yet here we are. Let us never forget the greed, cowardice, and (in some cases) malice of the world leaders who have pretended that Azerbaijan was something other than a terrorist, genocidal state since 2020. Let us never forget this complicity in genocide.

@LemkinInstitute Azerbaijan never instigates violence, but they were left with no choice but to fight for their country and for their citizens’ lives. They fought for what is rightfully theirs.

@LemkinInstitute You must be forgetting the horrible tragedies of Khojali in 1992. The hundreds of innocent children and civilians who were murdered in their own village. The bodies that were cut into pieces, the women who were raped by Armenians and over one thousand people who were kidnapped.
