Being honest with God is essential in paving an authentic connection from our heart to His. Pretending to be fine would be fake at best, deadening at worst.

Calling on the name of Jesus shouldn’t be our last resort. It should be our first response. So let’s choose to speak the name of Jesus over every need today. There is no other greater power or more assuring calm. Jesus. Only Jesus. Forever Jesus.

Something to think about.... What if the reason you don't know what you are called to do is that you are called to do something no one has ever done before.

Even when we don’t understand, we must trust God’s timing is perfect. Remember, “not yet” doesn’t mean “not ever.” Keep holding on, friend. God isn’t done with your story.

@timkellernyc Oh yes, and there may be a underlying fear of the answers that will come. Answers can mean change.

There’s a kind of doubt that actually wants answers, and there’s a kind of doubt that doesn’t want answers.

Worship reminds our trembling hearts and shaky knees that our God is mighty, our God is loving, and our God is more than able. It both quiets us and strengthens us. And then it prepares us for what lies ahead. Yes. Worry less. Worship more. It truly is the best battle plan.
