@Kata_Funk @Cultaholic You missed the point. WCW couldn't have even afford to give anyone that money because they weren't profitable. Hulk made WCW enough revenue that they could offer wrestlers big contracts. Bret was the top guy in the WWF. Nobody was making that money because WWF didn't have profit.

I think it boils down to what Goldberg said about Bret. Jesse had a career outside wrestling. For Bret, wrestling is all he ever knew. You threaten that, you threaten his livelihood and identity. People cope differently. And to be fair, people keep asking for Bret's honest opinion and he's giving it to them.

@Cultaholic The fact Jesse who literally got fired because of Hulk still had enough courage to thank Hulk and respect what he did for wrestling and got emotional when he found out he passed. Yet, Bret is whining over a fake belt in a fake wrestling match from 1992 is why he's a joke.
