When you have two very strong (and socially unpopular) opinions like "men can't become women" and "Israel has the right to exist and Jews aren't evil," sometimes you have to work with people who agree with you on one but not the other. Which, frankly, really stinks.

I don't pay NZ Herald for shit so I don't know for sure but it seems like Audrey Young is suddenly interested in the improperness of discussing politicians' personal lives. (Puff pieces obviously excepted.) Weird how we haven't heard that before...

@winstonpeters Yeah, politicians don't like to talk about other politicians' bad behaviour in case someone mentions theirs. A spine between you all would be nice.

We are not interested in a politician's current personal relationship issues and won’t be commenting at all on the matter - apart from the fact that there are lies now being spread including that the person involved works for New Zealand First – this is false. This person does not work for New Zealand First nor has any affiliation or role with New Zealand First. They worked for a short period of time in an office then left amicably for another role around a year ago. We are not saying anything further on the matter - we have serious national and international concerns that we have to deal with.

@StephanieVP62 @tawadeb I don't like to think any woman was left like that, but volume these days does mean people slip through the cracks. I'm open to her claims being more dramatic than "reality" but to me the details don't really matter - she had a miscarriage and he was "busy" (banging the intern).

I just want another copy of this circulating. What gets me is this woman is grateful to the POS's parents for stepping in with the bare minimum because the POS won't. He reduced her to such low expectations. A lot of women can relate to the tactics. McAnulty's ex for one I bet.

@StephanieVP62 Sorry I misread the paragraph myself and got more confused. I am open to her claims being exaggerated, I think the underlying trauma and pain feels real. But then I think a man who fucks his staff, threatens pregnant women and lies about other women... There's a type.

@KateCameron_NZ I am a bit perplexed about her comment about having to drive herself home in a hospital gown covered in blood. When I had my miscarriage years ago the nurse was lovely and cleaned me up and I stayed in for a D&C to make sure I was OK. Seems odd

@Soul_of_a_Sage Exactly - the enlightened media doesn't give a fuck about the discarded woman, just the man-baby they wanted in charge of the country. If those claims are even close to the truth, he beat her down long before he waltzed off with the latest staff fling.
