@KateGregory1 @thazeltonhouse @Eddiefreeves @Conservatives What about the funding necessary for Buckinghamshire in the Thame to Haddenham Greenway - was that forthcoming and finally negotiated from Buckinghamshire’s share, I wonder. Voters want priorities fixed first. The state of our roads is simply not good enough.

Today, LibDem & Labour Cllrs voted on a budget that prioritises #Oxford over #Oxfordshire for the 4th year in a row. @Conservatives proposed an amendment that would have cut waste & invested £6m extra in our roads. Residents will now have their say at #LocalElections2025 🗳

@thazeltonhouse @Oxon2020s @Eddiefreeves @Conservatives Yes and we’ve managed to get funding allocated to it which is the most progress it’s ever had. It benefits the resident of Thame so it makes sense that some budget comes from Oxfordshire- the Conservatives tried to remove the budget but fortunately it didn’t have the support

@Oxon2020s @KateGregory1 @Eddiefreeves @Conservatives We started the project in 2007. SUSTRANS looked at different solutions but no co-operation from the landowner, flooding issues on another route. Plus the overriding problem that 90% of the route is in Bucks! In 2021 the LibDems claimed they would get it sorted out.
