Today @andyjbowden and I joined a volunteer training session for the new Food Pantry in Parr. The model offers dignity and choice to residents, with wraparound support from a range of services. Thank you to all partners & the core team Cath, Anita and Dennis 🙌

The names associated with the history of our borough are often male industrialists (Gamble, Beecham, Pilkington). They left an important legacy but through our Blue Plaque scheme we want to tell the hidden stories and commemorate brave & pioneering women like Hannah Rosbotham 👇
