While both had a lot of tears, I can now confirm that Lincoln found getting a hair cut to be more traumatic than going to the dentist (he did both of these in the last 24 hours). 👀 Toddlers are dramatic little people. 😅

May 25 - June 6: took a 2-week break from most social media in response to a lot of things. While that in itself didn't spark joy, it definitely forced me to focus on things that did, like books, cooking, and hanging with Lincoln. ✨

May 24: to be completely honest, today was pretty terrible and it was really hard to find any spark of joy. these flowers helped a little. ✨

As part of my word of the year, I meant to start a thread of one thing that has brought me joy each day. January 1: Made pretzel bites for an afternoon snack for Lincoln and I. He loved them and so did I. Worth cleaning up the salt & baking soda afterward. ✨
