Okay, the new baseball stadium is cool and stuff until you're trying to make dinner reservations for after graduation and there's a home game and so parking downtown at 7pm is not going to happen so you gotta shift all of your plans.

One of the sweetest and most fulfilling things for me right now is that, now that I have officially defended my dissertation, my students will start their emails "Dr. Wright". I didn't ask them to. They just knew defending was a big deal to me and started doing it.
