Getting absolutely thrashed on the market is no fun. I know many of you followed me because I was having a generational run with the payouts. But I am here to show you that even if you have "figured it out", you can very quickly "unfigure it out". Nothing I have been doing in the last month has been working. Every single trade has been going against me. Sometimes I'm catching the end of the moves and it immediately goes against me at my entry. I'm doubting myself. The psychological grip on my mental state is tightening. I lost maybe 5-6 phase 2s, I stopped counting. I lost confidence. Maybe because my strategies are based off data and the current environment is just not conducive to my findings? I am unsure🤔 Either way, many people may consider switching strategies or switching things up right now. But not me. I am known for being stubborn and I will ride out this red. I will collect more data before I cast aside this strategy of mine. Maybe I am wrong. Not sure yet - but I will keep pushing and know I share in your frustration if you haven't been winning much either 🥲 Nonetheless, amidst a generational loss streak, I kept showing up. Every single day, I kept looking for opportunities. I did not tilt. I kept pushing. Because that's what legends do - they don't give up. And here is a small win with @FundedTradingP to celebrate. It doesn't matter if I get a payout from this account or not. What matters is I keep showing up. Every single day.

Do you guys want ICT Order Block & CISD indicator? My issue is that I will have non-ending arguments of what is an Order Block and why did you mark this but not that. You also have consolidation mess. I can probably find a way to make it cleaner, but that’s a lot of work and I don’t want to do a lot of work 🫣

I upgraded Claude subscription to Max because I ran out of Pro bandwidth in 2 days 🤦‍♂️ I love the fact that I can go back to designing and architecting software without having to code myself. I do miss the meetings, brainstorming, and working with the developers. But sadly, what is beyond my budget so I am using Claude AI. My problem with books, videos, and content in general is that they are hard to remember the details in the heat of the moment of a live market. So I am architecting, building, and training my own AI model to guide me while trading until I build the habit for it then move to next area. Down side is that it costs tokens every time I use it. But if trading is a business, then I need to invest in my business. I am loving Claude, thanks @KatherinaNote!

Let's start with my strategy, it is a discretionary + mechanical strategy. Disclaimer, although I can show the exact tools I am using and describe how I am using them, you won't be able to see the market exactly like me. With or without the tools above, you need to be able to effectively formulate a strategy and backtest your understanding of it either manually or through an EA. If you were trading a personal account, it is enough to stop here. Now here's the secret part 🤫 3. This is unique to Prop Firm trading only, collect your backtested trades from Step 2 and run it through a data pipeline that resembles a Prop Firm evaluation or challenge parameters. Now, this can be quite complicated to code, but if you are determined, you can do it by hand or excel - just take your dataset of trades and pretend you placed them on evaluation accounts end-to-end. See how many challenges you would pass and take to payout. 4. Lastly, refer to my post here to then calculate out your strategy's ROI on Prop Firms based on your calculated pass-rates from Step 3: x.com/Market_Emotion… This methodical approach will then help you understand your strategy's pass-rate and Prop Firm profitability. You will quickly understand that your strategy need not beat the market for you to be successful in Prop Firm trading. Understanding your trading and integrating it with the fundamental mechanics of Prop Firm challenges is more important. If you can formulate a good system and game plan, your fears of failure will disintegrate.
