A ton of America's growth in Marxism/socialism comes from Democrat vote buying but also entitlement dependent immigrants. My immigration plan is simple and will work:
Deport the legal and illegal entitlement dependent and criminals. Then let's sort through the rest. Republicans are LIARS...they love the legal and illegal immigrants because their donors demand the cheap labor. Open borders is a very bad idea but a ton of immigration is fueled by America's non-stop wars. Refugee laws are seriously abused and feed mass migration. It's how we got the Somalis that turned out to be masterminds in fraud.
The young are definitely migrating toward Marxism-socialism and that's because America is no longer a capitalist nation but capitalism is getting blamed for the mess created by fascism, corporatism, oligarchism, statism and Marxism-socialism.
I'm not hopeful about America's future.

What can Congress do or more precisely what should Congress do? America is a republic and the states are supposed to be sovereign. If the folks in NYC want socialism, it's their right to vote for it. The only law that should apply is the New York state constitution.
