My special boy is officially 14. He is and always will be nothing short of a warrior who lives life to the beat of his own drum. His challenges have been many due to first his autism and the struggles caused by that including, severe communication difficulties,social interaction difficulties, a severe form of Arfid, severe sensory processing disorder leading to extreme anxiety. He has also battled so many serious bouts of illness and now also has a rare kidney disease. Despite all of that he smiles, jokes, laughs and trusts only his family to do those things with. He refuses to conform and try to act as society expects telling us “I don’t need to try and be different, I’m not the problem”! I couldn’t be more blessed to be given this special boy to love, protect and be so proud to say he’s my son. We will celebrate quietly with immediate family after we bring his kitten home who will receive his special kind of love too. 🌈🌈🌈🐾🐾🎁🎉💙💙💙
