I turned my most boring math lesson into one of my most engaging ones. Here's how:

@saravdwerf @ryanflessner and I talked about this from the day our kids were born. Why does all the paperwork you get only talk about reading? As often as we read and said the ABCs we counted, pointed out shapes, described them, etc. Even as babies.

@NeddaK071936 @saravdwerf Totally agree! We have to make it easy and fun for adults to do math with kids.

@saravdwerf This is an app the delivers a word problem to families. Problems are leveled according to age of the child. Remember so many parents were traumatized by math. This is an easy way for them to have some math time with their kids. bedtimemath.org. .
