@POTUS Exactly where has this happened? Arizona prices went down $0.10 for gas and diesel is still over $5.00!!!

Gas prices have declined by an average of $1.60 a gallon over the past 173 days and are now back to the levels they were at in early February. That's great news.

We're seeing initial signs that inflation is coming down. This week we saw that the increase in prices businesses pay for goods and services moderated. Gas prices are down. And prices for things like clothes and TVs are going down. That's good news as we head into the holidays.

Gas prices are back to levels they were at in early March. We've responsibly released barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, announced plans to repurchase oil to get producers moving, and engaged with key oil companies and states to lower prices even more.

Prices at the pump are down for the second week in a row. And the most common price in the U.S. is back down to $3.49 a gallon. Folks, we’re moving in the right direction.

I'm doing everything I can to blunt Putin's price hike at the pump. And we're seeing results. Gas prices fell at a record rate this summer – and continued falling 15 of the last 18 weeks. In fact, every month, the typical two-driver family saves $120 compared to peak prices.
