Happy summer :) How are we taking care of ourselves this summer!?

Today I was working with a teen client on a relapse prevention plan and she said to me: “You’d be a really good school counselor.” Funny you say that… cuz I am a school counselor.🥲 In moments like those I feel validated in my career choice— can’t wait to get back in schools!

Yesterday at work we wore blue for Child Abuse Prevention Month 💙

Today’s self care included a loooong beach walk with my lovely coworker, @Menaaa_xo! Now onto a day full of taxes, budget planning, laundry, etc. Happy Saturday!

Work-life balance is so important. I make an effort to schedule in things I love each day after work. Wednesday? Tap cardio. Thursday? Beach sunset picnic with friends. Let’s see what today has in store :) What can you plan for yourself today?
