Legacy ASE export add-on almost done. Can now batch export objects from Blender. Also creates valid multi-material, sub-mesh ASE's (might only work in GtkRadiant, needs further testing)... def could have done with this back in the day!

AI render denoising has been the standard in 3D since 2019. We were using CNN and GAN since their introduction. Current diffusion models stems from image/render denoising and texture synthesis fields, both half century old.
The 3D industry started the whole image diffusion thing

Possible updated ASE export script for Blender 4.x+ for use with idTech/Radiant/GtkRadiant. Don't know how useful this is these days...

When you turn this off (you should) it will disable the automatic categorization of stuff (promotions, social, etc). Which seems annoying at first, but if you spend a little time unsubscribing to all the garbage you never wanted in the first place, it’s great.

IMPORTANT message for everyone using Gmail. You have been automatically OPTED IN to allow Gmail to access all your private messages & attachments to train AI models. You have to manually turn off Smart Features in the Setting menu in TWO locations. Retweet so every is aware.

@matteopelleg Artists keep saying this, but try scrolling Instagram or Pinterest. Its devoid of any information on the source, raking in millions of likes and views. It could be a trace, stolen without credit, AI or fully procedural fractal art. If it's pretty, they don't care.

Blender doesn't have a native 'batch' FBX exporter (needed for a project w/ lots of assets), so had to work one up that included a number of features to cover different editing environments... releasing soon... and yes, AI was used ;)

@henningsanden Alt+MMB (direction) drag. Quite handy.
There is an option to emulate in Preferences (as you probably know) but enabling it can cause a few issues with other hotkeys...

Easy ways Blender could be more user friendly:
- remove all hotkeys from the numpad by default. You can still add keys to it yourself. Plenty of keyboards and practically no laptops have numpads
- Frame Selection by default should be on the left side of the keyboard for easy access. You should never have to move the hand off the mouse to frame your selection. Ive set it to C, 10x smoother.

At the rate hardware is being redirected to service AI networks, simply hosting a website will become cost prohibitive regardless of user contributions. In a yr or two there may be no internet as we know it b/c individuals won't be able to afford to maintain their sites...
