‼️I have found no psychoactive effects from this drug. I take a very low dose from Kats Botanicals. They have a code on each bottle that tells you exactly what went into it. It is very helpful for pain (green, mostly, for me). I CAN NOT take THC for my spinal pain. I get paranoid, I can't make out images on my phone, and I have major panic attacks. I experience nothing like this with kratom. I don't even know I'm on it, except some of the burning in my neck is alleviated. A HANDFUL of people have died taking kratom over the last decade only because of things like extracts (potent), and they almost always mixed it with other drugs. I take only leaf powder, and I take it at an even lower dose than the one prescribed on the bottle. I think for the psyche, at least, it's much safer than cannabis. Regulate, fine, I understand, and don't sell extracts at the convenience store. Most of the few deaths from kratom have been from people mixing it with other drugs, too. @modivo @CdcPOW I really like @KatsBotanicals. I take the bulk powder as capsule are more expensive but for beginners the capsules are great. At 600mg ea they recommend 4 so 2400mg or 2.4g. I would start with 1.8g (3 caps) empty stomach and lots of water.

I have enjoyed kratom for 20 years for back pain in lieu of harmful prescription drugs and it alleviates that pain. What you need to make sure and do is differentiate Kratom extracts from regular kratom leaf (which is what the majority of the community drinks). Extracts can be harmful and we don't recommend them. However, the leaf has great potentials. Make sure you research the studies on Kratom by @JohnsHopkins, Dr. Chris McCurdy, and the 8-factor analysis study performed by Dr. Jack Heningfield. Kratom is getting a bad rap due to people using Kratom extracts while on prescription meds & most know that's where you get in trouble. We advocate for responsible usage. I'm crossing my fingers here hoping you won't come into this biased and only hearing what the FDA has to say about this plant. But rather, listen to the people who have experienced Kratom and its benefits first hand for years.
