Crypto pleb; just this guy; #Bitcoin isn't everything...it's the _only_ thing. Will ignore DMs regarding 'investments'.

Thomas Sowell gets it: He's 94 years old and has never held political office, never had a viral moment, never begged for your attention. He just wrote 30 books, spent 50 years dismantling bad ideas with data, and let the work speak. No green room. No cable news contract. No ideology to sell you. While academics were chasing grants and politicians were chasing polls, Sowell was in the library proving them all wrong. The most dangerous intellectual in America isn't the loudest one. It's the one who doesn't need you to agree with him.

If we voted for the "person", why don't MPs all run as Independents? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with Muslim leaders today to listen to other changes they would like across England and Wales. It comes after new laws were introduced on Monday to protect the Muslim faith.

The fact that we tolerate Al-Quds Day in 2026 is a disgrace. We wouldn't allow the KKK to march through our streets, but we're going to roll out the red carpet for supporters of Islamic terrorism? These people are using our freedoms to take away our freedom. Wake the hell up.

Islamic cleric in the UK: “Islam is not here to coexist. We were sent to dominate the world, to extinguish and wipe out every other religion. We are superior to everyone else. We shouldn’t be shy to say it. And if that requires fighting, so be it.” Have you ever seen a preacher of any other religion talk like this? While every other religion preaches peace and coexistence, this is what they believe. They are not like us!

Muslim preacher in the UK 🇬🇧 “We are here to stay. THIS IS OUR LAND, WE ARE SETTLERS. And the current English flag is forbidden under Sharia law because it bears a cross. Instead, ‘England’ could be written on a white flag.”

The theme of this news story suggests that discussing Alberta’s future is somehow harming our province’s reputation with investors. But business leaders and Albertans understand that the real source of uncertainty did not begin with independence discussions--it began with more than a decade of shifting federal policy. Laws and policies such as the Impact Assessment Act (C-69), the tanker ban, escalating carbon pricing, emissions caps, and other federal interventions have made Canada--and especially Alberta--a far less predictable place to invest. Capital has been leaving long before Albertans began seriously debating our constitutional future. Albertans are not talking about independence out of frustration alone. We are having this conversation because our province possesses extraordinary resources that the world clearly needs, yet federal policy continues to prevent those resources from reaching global markets. A stable and self-governing Alberta--one that provides clear, predictable rules for responsible resource development--will restore the investment confidence that has been lost. Our goal is not uncertainty. Our goal is stability, prosperity, and a secure economic future for the next generation of Albertans that only independence can provide. edmontonjournal.com/business/alber… via @edmontonjournal

Do you think this would make criminals think twice about invading someone's home?
