So appreciate getting to listen and learn from scholars who I see myself in! Feeling reenergized and ready to push through the rest of this semester!

Really wishing I would have had a PhD baby shower. Whose going to pay for all these books I want to/need to buy?! Definitely not my GA salary.

Trying to write intentionally, excluding harmful language that stems from foundational scholars, is difficult but necessary. I hope when I eventually publish some work, I will do this successfully.

Been dealing with major imposter syndrome since starting my PhD program last year (quarantine/isolation played a huge role in that). Feeling energized this semester by a few things-reading @priscadorcas new book, connecting w/ some pretty cool classmates, & critical syllabuses :)
