I’m finishing my last semester at UNH right now. This is a big win. Out of state students attending NH colleges for a temporary period should not have a say in our political process. They can vote absentee in their home state.
The school gives student ID’s to the foreign students that come here, so we have possibly been allowing non-citizens to be voting in our elections.
We don’t want foreigners, whether they’re from India or from Massachusetts, to be voting in NH elections.
