Today, I had the privilege of meeting Gurmeet Kaur, the author of Valiant, the powerful book on the life and legacy of Jaswant Singh Khalra. Khalra Sahib’s courage, and sacrifices have long commanded my deepest respect. His unwavering stand for justice continues to inspire!

Prof. Devinderpal Singh Bhullar's mother, Mata Upkar Kaur Ji who passed away on 28 December 2020, and his wife, Bibi Navnit Kaur, have been fighting a long legal battle since 1994. Prof. Bhullar's father and uncle were killed in police custody in 1991. In 2002, he was sentenced to death in a controversial split Supreme Court decision, which was based on an unsigned confession.
