@JoeStarkey1 see
Joe? Nothing to worry about. Congrats on your Sabres finishing those despised Bruins. Make your pilgrimage and attend a game next round.
@MarkMaddenX Agree. He also got his first taste of playoffs which will be a great growing pain experience. A little overwhelmed to start but thought he got stronger all around as series went deeper, despite the lack of scoring. Having Mantha weigh him down and his abysmal play didn’t help.
Ben Kindel was a revelation this season. For a teenage kid to play like that is amazing. He’ll be captain someday. As a Penguins lifer, I couldn’t be happier w/how he played& him being on the Pens.
That game is a good reminder, not that it’s really needed, of why so few teams come back from 3-0 down. Even if you’re the better team for the next four games, it’s not usually enough.
@JRown32 Mantha/Chinakov biggest culprits. Kindel only 19 & got better as series went on. Good experience for him. Acciari was great. Mantha not only didn’t score, played poor playoff hockey, turned the puck over, took horrible penalties. Let him walk. Even Chinakov more visible tonight
Mantha. 33 goals during the year. Just one point in the playoffs.
Chinakhov. 21 goals during the year. No points in the playoffs.
Kindel. 17 goals during the year. No points in the playoffs.
Acciari. 13 goals during the year. Just one point in the playoffs.
@SNPittsburgh It was always going to take a screen shot like that to beat either of those guys tonight. Pens had plenty, just couldn’t get one thru the D. Novak off the post came closest end of regulation
@MarkMaddenX Agree. Chinakov also has at least looked more dangerous tonight. Had the best chance off the post too. Love to see Kindel just rifle that shot of his every chance he can
NFL on CBS GREAT reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala on Steelers using UFA tender on Aaron Rodgers:
"If you know anything about Aaron Rodgers. This is going to do nothing but antagonize him."
@JMackey_PGH Feel bad for Ashcraft. Clearly tough start coming right off the bereavement list. Wish him and his family the best whatever they are going thru. No doubt he will be better next time out.
Two more runs in the fifth, and that will do it for Braxton Ashcraft. Gives up a double to Alec Burleson and Jordan Walker's sac fly. It's 5-0 Cardinals. Here comes Hunter Barco.
@AGretz He’s a tremendous matchup problem and has just enough skill to finish some of his chances. Looks like a great deal by Dubas. Still a little worried about Chinakov. Hes like a golfer with the yips with his shot, needs a lucky bounce to get that swagger back.
