@KayHayen I have compiled my package into an extension module but I don't see any performance improvements. Do you have any tricks/tips to speed up the program execution, or is it not always possible?

The Python3.12 support has just hit the milestone that allows me to declare it fully supported for 2.3 release upcoming, and the next 2.3rc today/tomorrow will remove the experimental annotation in #nuitka

Important #nuitka hotfix 2.3.3 adds support for newer pkg_resources that broke runtime on "import pkg_resources" with segfaults.

#Nuitka 2.3 released with Python 3.12 support and low and behold Python 3.13 beta one experimental support, catching up! Announcement will be made, once release post is in place.

@KayHayen nuitka is still flagged / detected as virus by Avast & Eset Antivirus. Even it's only hello world. And the compression makes them flagged too. Any ideas how to solve this?

New #Nuitka 2.2 is big in many things, with experimental 3.12 support, but watch out for next pre-release of 2.3, that is going to do 3.12 almost fine. Also JIT for Tensorflow working is kind of big. nuitka.net/posts/nuitka-r…

@ablekirby Several days should not happen, but it seems recently I missed one indeed, my bad.

#Nuitka with Python 3.12 has passed basic tests, done standalone stuff, and generally now I will be working through the 3.11 test suite. It's not done, but experimental support will be in 2.2 release, full in 2.3 one month later I guess.

@KayHayen Kay, I'm coming straight to you for this. Tried looking around the net and couldn't get a proper answer. I have a package that also has sub-packages. I'm working with python 3.11. Is there a way to directly get a compiled version of the package?

Finally, #Nuitka has 3.12 hello world moments, quickly fixing up the remaining things now, hopefully, basic tests will work soon.
