The problem facing Ghana football is not primarily about structures, laws, or statutes. In my view, it is a personnel problem. If the leadership changes—starting with Kurt Okraku and Prosper Harrison Addo—then, in my opinion, a significant part of the current challenges can be addressed. The next step would be appointing competent, responsible, transparent, and selfless people who will put the interests of Ghana football above personal interests. No institution can thrive when leadership is perceived to be driven by self-interest or vindictiveness. Ghana football deserves leaders who are accountable, inclusive, and committed to restoring public confidence, rebuilding our game, and serving the interests of players, clubs, supporters, and the nation as a whole. The time has come to put Ghana football first.
