@SteveAdamsSoil Similar, but not as much work this winter. Mild winter and fake spring got things going, then lows again. A lot of covering of the pots sprouting. Warmed, then now we’re cool again, but not freezing! Oh, and the wind. I can’t work happily in the wind. Our yard is NOT a sailboat!

We are 7b. It can get really cold a for several weeks, and even some deep freezes down around 2-3 degrees every winter. I mulch with fall leaves and cover with pots and buckets on the really cold nights, especially if things have sprouted already. This year we had 80s and 90s in Jan-Feb, then back down to single digits, so I had a lot of covering to do.

@KayTaylor3 It depends on the garden I'm working on. The things I commonly use are alfalfa pellets and regular compost I buy in bulk.

@SteveAdamsSoil Finally had our lawn aerated just a few weeks ago and he added soil conditioner. It’s made a huge difference, but I have a few stubborn places where I killed crabgrass last year that need more organic stuff. Will check to see what he actually used; probably not alfalfa pellets.

I'm building tools that allow every gardener to recreate functional disturbance that restores healthy soils. Restoring soil function and health is more than No-Till. Pleistocene soils weren't tilled in the modern sense, but they were disturbed. If you want to return to the health of Pleistocene soils, you have to go beyond surface solutions. Solutions need to be placed Underground.

Days ago, Matta posed for a photo with Massie at his campaign event while wearing a shirt that says “American Reich”.

Massie appears to be boosting Holocaust deniers.
Very alarming that @RandPaul and @laurenboebert @RepSpartz and @WarrenDavidson are ok with this Holocaust denial.
Even more alarming how silent @SpeakerJohnson and @LeaderJohnThune are about GOP members of Congress like @RepSpartz @WarrenDavidson @RandPaul and @laurenboebert campaigning with Holocaust deniers and Neo Nazis.

Why? Because "they" will destroy you. So Matta wants you to "get your money out of the" U.S. Sorta like the opposite of "invest in America." Matta complained that if you criticize Jews, "they treat you like a little bitch-ass goyim." He warned more about "they," claiming that "they are coming after everything you hold dear."
