To the #OPTCG community, I wanted to get thoughts about how stores are running the OP-16 prerelease events. A store decided to run an OP-16 prerelease with 14 players and only gave out 1 winner card and made players do 5 rounds! Are they allowed to do this? #onepiececardgame

UPDATE 3: The store has said they only give out 1 winner card and it is their discretion to give out the rest to the next ranking players..... Imagine if it was a 64 player tournament and they have 7 spare Luffy winners withheld at their discretion 💀

Shoutout to @europagaming1 ! They hosted a 32 player OPTCG prerelease and stuck to 3 rounds but also had 2 additional winner cards to hand out! 6 winner cards handed out in total to top 4 undefeated and top 2 x-1s! #onepiececardgame #optcg

UPDATE 2: The store passed someone this reply - so they opened up 3 kits for participation and were "told" by their unnamed distributor to only give out 1 winner card. What does the store do with the other 2 winner cards then? They aren't running more prereleases..

UPDATE: A store organiser confirmed it is meant to be 1 winner card for every 8 players. Each kit comes with 8 participation packs and 1 winner card and is designed to support 8 players with the contents of that kit being given out for the 8 players (all participation + winner).
