@LayahHeilpern Do you not think now it would have been better to enter at 60k, then sell on the way back up if you truly believe there were going to be counter rallies in a bear market? Then you could wait for your "lower lows" to DCA with more capital?

Every bear market in crypto has rallies that feel like the real thing. 2018 had multiple. 2022 had multiple. Every one of them made people FOMO in just in time to get rekt. Don't get emotional. Stay cautious.

@ZackPolanski You mean let's create mass unemployment. Increasing wages isn't the issue, it's bringing down the cost of living. 2 things happen whenever any government has done this in the past: 1) costs passed to the consumer so prices of goods go up to cover staff costs. 2) cuts to staff.

The Mail doesn't think seem to think workers, of all ages, are worth £15 an hour. That's fair pay for a fair day's work, with money workers will put back into the economy. We are the party for workers. Vote Green on 7th May.

@LayahHeilpern Pretty much none of the bull market top indicators went off and we dumped - therefore its possible none of the bottom indicators/TA could be right and we just go up having already bottomed. That could also be a very real abd valid scenario- no blow off top = no meltdown bottom.

In the 2022 bear market, bitcoin gave you multiple 30%+ rallies on the way to lower lows. Every single one was called "the bottom" in real time. Every single one was wrong. What makes this time different?

The bounce will be hard and fast. Many will not recover their bags. They still wait for a larger pull back. $40,000 certainly not coming, $50,000 a hopeful dream, $60,000 you had your chance and missed it. We only go higher now. If you sold you’re dead to me.

@Asiandan1 Still plenty more room for them to drop more, tbh I only see very few alts surviving (e.g. privacy coins like Monero). There was too much trash from the last 2 cycles that finally needed to die so liquidity could rotate back to BTC and anything worth anything 😆

@2147mill It's called liquidity hunting by market makers. If youre zooming into the 15min chart then youre going to ask "what happened" every other hour because that's how market makers work. Use the 4hr time frame for actual macro moves.

@TedPillows The goal posts have already moved, is it then going to move to 82k, then 85k, 90k... 100k?

$BTC spot demand is still strong. This is why I'm expecting a final move towards the $78,000-$80,000 level, which will be the final liquidity grab.

@LayahHeilpern We diverged from previous bull markets and closed the year red, didn't top on euphoria and instead rolled over. This range could have been the bottom, since the next level of massive liquidity is around 88k which would break bear market structure.

Bitcoin is at $72,000. The S&P just hit a 2026 low. Everyone is calling this the great decoupling. Bitcoin decoupled from stocks in March 2020 too. For about 72 hours. Then it dropped 50%. One day of divergence is not a new paradigm.

Vulnerable post: I'm in a very weird spot in my career right now. I've built up a resume of 5+ years of tech marketing, 8+ years running a successful brick and mortar business that I bought and sold, and a college degree before that. With that said, I don't know where I want to go from here. My experience works well with 0-1 startups, but that's extreme risk on my end. Usually those are higher pay but no benefits, health insurance, retirement, etc., which ends up worse than a "lower paying" job. I understand AI enough to know that I can do just about any white collar job, but that arbitrage opportunity will not last forever. A year from now there might not even need to be a "me" because AI will be so advanced it can run those jobs autonomously. Marketing gets tiring because of the ever changing landscape and the misunderstanding of the job itself. I can't stand "sales," yet most companies think hiring a marketing position means a sales position. I've really been loving doing developer stuff. I'm 40+ hours into coding my own successful app that will be launched in the App Store in a few weeks. That said, it's more of a passion project. I'm not expecting a full startup arc. If you've been keeping up, for now I'm just a dad with some side hustles that are comfortably getting us by. I believe God has a plan for my life, but quite honestly, other than being in the moment, I have no idea what that looks like right now. Finding joy in the uncertainty has been testing, but I will remain faithful. (I have been applying for jobs, but I'm not settling.)
