1/ Okay… I desperately needed something to make me smile right now. 😭 So let me tell you what happened when my daughter and her besties set off on a mission to meet ARMYs around Paris. I was absolutely not prepared. 😂👇 I received the most chaotic FaceTime call of my life. The screen opened on…cobblestones. Then a forehead.Then the sky. Then someone’s chin.Then absolutely nobody. Six teenage girls screaming over each other. “CHRISTIIIIIIINE!!” Me: “I CAN’T SEE ANY OF YOU!” The phone changes hands. Now I’m looking directly into someone’s nostrils.All six are talking at the exact same time. One girl photobombs the background throwing up a peace sign. “…Girls?” Nobody hears me. “Am I even still on this call?”

Even though i took this photo of the screens, I just love Jin here. He's just living in the moment and taking in the atmosphere, totally absorbed. He just looks so calm and whimsical 💜 Or, he's thinking about what he wants to eat after... #BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG_London

Oh my God, my daughter just told me she’s going to wander around Paris with her friends this afternoon and then she goes: “Mum, I can take the photocards you won’t use since you’re not going to the concert… and if I see any ARMYs, I can give them out. It’ll help me practise my English.” 🥹💜 So if you see a little group of teenagers and among them, a shy girl with long blonde curls, big light eyes and a tiny nervous smile handing out BTS photocards… that’s my baby 😇

Armys, my lovely moots, thank you so much for all your messages, your prayers and all the love you sent for my mum yesterday. 💜 I’m sorry for venting here when this is supposed to be such a joyful week for so many of you. I felt guilty afterwards like I had dropped a little emotional suitcase in the middle of the purple party…… but you were all so kind to me.🙏 And the news is much better this morning. Thomas and my children went to see my mum this morning and within approximately twelve seconds, she was already shouting: “Who told you to come NOW? You visit my daughter in the morning and ME in the afternoon! You’re doing everything wrong!Look at you walking in here with your funeral faces.” My daughter tried, very bravely:“But Baba… we were worried.” And mum, deeply offended by the concept:“Worried about WHAT? Honestly… I swear none of you know how to use your brains.” She also informed them that they all worry too much, make everything dramatic and collectively have the decision-making skills of potatoes. My son, trying to defend everyone: “But Baba… potatoes don’t make decisions.” She looked at him.Then, without blinking:“Exactly. That’s what makes them less exhausting than you.” Apparently, having a small heart attack was nowhere near as serious as everyone showing up at the wrong time. Honestly… that’s the most reassuring medical report I could have received. 🤣 And there’s more… I’m leaving the hospital TOMORROW !!! 🥳🥳🥳 I knew all your beautiful energy arriving in Paris with BTS so close and an entire purple wave of love moving through my city had to bring something good with it. Thank you for carrying me a little yesterday. Today, everything feels a little lighter. 💜🙏🫂💜

ARMYs… forgive me for being a little quieter today. 💜 Life has a strange way of reminding us that joy and worry can exist in the very same moment. This afternoon, I got a call from my mum’s hospital to tell me she’d had a minor heart attack. Thankfully it was caught quickly. She’s in the best place she could be but hearing news like that while being in hospital myself wasn’t the easiest thing to process. But knowing BTS are in Paris, knowing so many of you are arriving with hearts full of excitement somehow brings a little warmth into a day that felt heavy. If you’ve sent me a message and I haven’t answered yet, please don’t think I’m ignoring you. I promise I’ll catch up.. For tonight, I’m going to rest, breathe and be grateful. Welcome to Paris, @BTS_twt. I hope our city gives you as much love as you’ve given us. 💜
