More meetings will follow. As a civil society organisation @afriforum remains outside of party politics. We are working for the next generation rather than the next election. The last thing the country needs now is for yet another ANC cadre to be deployed as South Africa’s ambassador to the USA. Roelf Meyer is an ANC cadre. A principled ambassador is needed who can engage with the USA competently in the interest of South Africa. His history shows that he is someone who is willing to dramatically reposition himself to suit his own personal interests. His becoming a member of the ANC is a prime example. Let me be clear: the President of the country did not pay for Mama Joy's trips, despite what she may think. DSAC did. Both trips I could find info on from before my term were covered by the department. Her France trip alone cost R700k. I hope this matter can now be put to rest.

You could sponsor a dedicated section for them and provide shirts. It could create the same energy at a lower cost.
