@RichardGrenell the loss of my mother 4 years this month is a constant ping in my heart. I long to have that one more conversation.. laughing, discussing.. just to hear her voice saying my name. I'm so sorry for the loss of yours.

I remember seeing someone post last year that you should call your mom, and go visit her more often because she won’t be around that long. It was a sweet post. It was someone else’s sadness, though. It was a great reminder to really appreciate the limited time we have with our moms - but it wasn’t me. I called my mom almost every day, so I couldn’t truly feel the limited time I had left with her. The post last year didn’t capture me like maybe it should have. Well, my mom passed away less than three weeks ago, suddenly, and I can’t tell you how captured I am now. If your mom is alive, here’s your reminder to call her, go see her, spend time with her, love on her. Your time with her is very limited. Don’t just think it’s an issue for someone else. It’s you faster than you think.

@NHLBruins I was 10 but have real memories of this iconic moment. So happy to share it with my parents. I will never forget it. ever!
